NEU Dehesa Logo "Response to Intervention"

K-5th RTI

Our Response to Intervention (RTI) process and placement is determined by analyzing measurable data. There are multiple levels of RTI, which first begins in the classroom with effective instructional practices and modifications. Our teachers use multiple modalities, small group instruction, individualized student goals, and technology to help support students’ needs. Teachers look at data frequently to align and drive their instruction to meet the needs of ALL students. When a student does not make adequate progress in a given amount of time, the teacher readjusts the instruction and/or refers the student to a targeted RTI program. Dehesa staff works to ensure that each student works towards “proficiency and beyond!”
